Now that things have settled down a bit from the joyous holiday season, I want to take a moment to update you on the goings on at the Kathy Morawiec studio!
2016 has been great to me as an artist! I've developed new relationships with my local art gallery, Klamath Art Association. They do a wonderful job of giving us a place to display our artworks. We've been invited to exhibit at the Ross Ragland Theatre, Crater Lake Regional Airport, the Sagebrush Rendezvous as well as the local gallery.
Just across the pass, The Rogue Gallery and Art Center in Medford, OR has provided me with the opportunity to exhibit at several member shows. I'm honored and excited that my very first solo show will be this spring at the Berryman Gallery in The Craterian Theater at the Collier Center for the Performing Arts! The exhibit will run the end of March through May. Working very hard to have my best pieces available to show!
Also Christenberry Collection in South Carolina and Sunshine Art Gallery in Georgia have me shipping artworks to the southern parts of the states! The reception from that area has been unbelievable! They are such a blessing!
To top it off, Artfinder has included "Olivia's Retreat" in it's 2016/17 edition of The Edit. It was chosen from more than 8000 artists and has a wide circulation in the US and UK. https://issuu.com/artfinder/docs/artfinder_brochure_sept_2016e-versi?ff+true
Most importantly, I want to thank you all for the support and encouragement you've given me. The likes and red hearts make me smile! Every comment has been so positive and uplifting...and much appreciated! Your kindness keeps me motivated to stare down those blank canvases and try to create something beautiful!
