Sometimes I just have to do things the hard way...My first love is intuitive painting, but it gets me in trouble...quite often. It feels really good to go with a few colors and see where they lead. But without a reference photo, or any idea of where you want to end up, it's sometimes a crap shoot. As in this painting, I wrangled and splashed and pouted my way through this guy.But it was worth it. Really thrilled with the dreamy background and enchanted feel of the piece. A little done, a little undone...
